Art. 23 EAA - Compliance of services
- Member States shall establish, implement and periodically update adequate procedures in order to:
- check the compliance of services with the requirements of this Directive, including the assessment referred to in Article 14 for which Article 19(2) shall apply mutatis mutandis;
- follow up complaints or reports on issues relating to non-compliance of services with the accessibility requirements of this Directive;
- verify that the economic operator has taken the necessary corrective action.
- Member States shall designate the authorities responsible for the implementation of the procedures referred to in paragraph 1 with respect to the compliance of services.Member States shall ensure that the public is informed of the existence, responsibilities, identity, work and decisions of the authorities referred to in the first subparagraph. Those authorities shall make that information available in accessible formats upon request.
